I am so fortunate to have been part of the Posh team these past few months, but after today I will no longer be working as Posh’s blog editor intern. This is to be my last post. However, even though I will no longer be writing Posh’s blog content, I will always consider myself part of the Posh community.
First, I would like to express my deep gratitude to Blossom Braemer who brought me onto the Posh team and became my mentor and friend. She is an amazing woman with enormous passion, drive, and kindness. I never knew incredible bosses like her existed; instead of sending me out to get coffee or do grunt-work like many internships would have me do, Blossom worked with me personally every week to teach me how to improve my writing and social media skills. More than that, she treated me as an equal and friend. She even let me borrow her awesome, hand-made spider costume to wear for Halloween! I will always admire Blossom as a incredibly strong woman who makes her dreams come to life every single day.
Second, I would like to thank the entire Posh Coworking community for being such a great group of people to work among. I’m sad I never got the chance to get to know some of you better, but I could tell just sitting in the Posh lounge that we have an incredible group of Poshies. You are all amazing women and men who create beautiful, artistic, yummy, and fun products and events as a part of your lives. I hope one day that I will create something half as wonderful as you folks have.
Third, I would like to thank Kara Howell, the Posh Bridal Lounge blog editor, for her never-ending support helping me brainstorm ideas and editing my terrible writing! Kara is a great writer with a fun spirit and I know her writing will take her very far in life. She is a wonderful, lovely person, and I’m so proud to call her my friend.
Finally, I would like to thank you readers. Mostly, I would like to thank you all for actually plowing through my work as I tried new things and worked on new topics. I hope my work has brought some insight, inspiration, or interest in your lives. I have loved getting to write for entrepreneurs, freelancers, and anyone who found my posts even slightly worth reading. Thank you for supporting my writing simply by reading it!
I came into this internship with two goals in mind: to learn more about blogging and social media, and to improve my writing skills. Posh has allowed me to accomplish both of these tasks while also teaching me about women empowerment and the practical side of entrepreneurism and freelance work. This internship has been a terrific experience and I wish the next blog intern, from the bottom of my heart, the best of luck!
Posh, it’s been a pleasure.
